ABOUT US
From our Herefordshire based farm we have developed a passion for all things firewood. We have built up a base of returning customers who can expect a range of quality firewood to suit all needs and budgets.
Firewood is cut to size (25cm/10inches) and is suitable for log burners, open fires, firepits and campfires. We also occasionally have specialist smoking woods (see our store for current availability).
We don't kiln dry, an intensive process burning more wood and releasing CO2. We use the natural way, used for millennia...
After cutting and splitting, our firewood is carefully and patiently seasoned.
It stays in our shed for one to two years, depending on species, until its dry and ready.
Our Ready To Burn accreditation reflects this commitment. This lets you know that the wood has <20% moisture content, enabling you to start using your firewood immediately with no need to season it at home.
With further consideration to our environmental impact, we aim to give back wherever we can. By planting trees in our woodland we hope to further the sustainability of our wood.
