Firewood Logs Delivery & Collection Information
We deliver locally loose tipped loads in our truck. It’s divided into sections so we can offer a range of load size.
Our free local delivery area is shown below. We deliver within Herefordshire outside this zone for an extra £20 fee.
We do not deliver in Bulk Bags, these are available for collection from our yard
Further Local Delivery Information
- Most of our deliveries are made within a 3-4 days of order, but we ask customers on the edge of our delivery area to allow us the full 7 days to pair up part loads for efficiency.
- During very cold spells we may need extra time to keep up with orders and will advise on our website banner of the current delivery times we can promise.
- If we haven't spoken prior to your order, we will call to arrange a suitable delivery time.
- Our aim is to deliver on dry days, starting after rush hour.
- Regular customers who are happy for us to deliver whilst they're not home, can leave a tarp out for us to cover over their logs if needed.
- Our truck can get into 99% of drives, but has to stay on a hard surface.
Collection Information
We hold a stock of firewood bulk bags and crates for customers to collect. Collection is by appointment, as we may be out on deliveries, so please call ahead of arriving.
Collections can be made 9-4pm during the week and on Saturday mornings during the autumn and winter.
We are conveniently located 2miles north of Hereford just off the A49 in Moreton on Lugg behind the Church. Church House Farm is signed, 300m from the A49 on the right before the church.
We will help you load, but customers are responsible for securing their load. Children need to stay in vehicles.
Size Guide:
- Bulk bags can be emptied into a hatch back sized car with the rear seats down. We can lift bulk bags into the back of vans or onto pickup trucks with our forklift.
- Crates, we can help hand load into enclosed vans. We can tip crates directly into tipper vans or trailers. Standard builders tipper size trailers can accommodate a crate load.
