Local Deliveries

We advise of our current estimated delivery timeframe on the top banner of our website. We aim, but can’t guarantee to deliver within the stated time. Lead times may extend during busy periods, in which case we will update the website banner and make contact with the customer who’s orders will not be able to be delivered within the timespan stated at the time of their order. If the new lead time is unacceptable to them we will offer a full refund.

In the event of you agreeing to delivery and not being at home during the agreed time period, being out of contact so we are unable to speak with you to agree to unload the goods and not agreeing by prior arrangement that we may leave the goods on your property, and a re-delivery is required, then a charge of £30.00 per delivery will be made.

We will not leave deliveries on the public highway without your presence to take responsibility for the goods.  

Delivery drivers are not expected to stack firewood in customers stores, or unload by hand loose tipped firewood orders.

Deliveries cannot be made on soft verges/ground. Delivery vehicles must remain on hardstanding at all times.

All goods must be checked on arrival unless prior agreement has been made to leave the goods at the property at which point these will be left at the customer’s risk.
